About Great Southwest Family Dental

Located at 2308 Bardin Rd Ste 100, Grand Prairie, TX 75052, Great Southwest Family Dental operates as a dentist serving Grand Prairie in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under cosmetic dentist, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

In Grand Prairie, popular practices book routine cleanings weeks ahead, so call early or ask to be put on a cancellation list; emergency and walk-in clinics are the exception. Across Texas, a new-patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning typically runs from about $150 to $350 without insurance, and many offices publish new-patient specials on their websites. Check the listing for hours, whether the office takes your insurance or Medicaid, languages spoken, wheelchair access and parking, then confirm by phone: insurance networks and providers change more often than the listings do.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–4 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Great Southwest Family Dental at (972) 660-8457; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is greatsouthwestfamilydental.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 421 reviews, which is a strong result for a dentist in Grand Prairie and suggests consistent service.

Grand Prairie is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Grand Prairie is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Never had an issue with my teeth after their services. Cleaning is always super quick and I’ve gotten a few more serious procedures done here too. Had some teeth pulled in preparation for my braces and got my wisdom teeth out recently. Both were super easy procedures, I chose to be awake through both and observed professionalism and kindness with each experience. My healing is going very well and I’ve been offered checkups to make sure everything is going smoothly many times. The waiting room is also kept very clean and there is plenty of space for people to sit down, as well as refreshments while parents wait for their kids. Would definitely recommend this place! Wishing luck to Dr. Truong for his upcoming mission travels!

Great Southwest Family Dental is wonderful for the entire family! The staff is always kind, welcoming, and especially patient with children, which makes every visit stress-free. They are very knowledgeable about insurance coverage and take the time to explain options clearly. I also appreciate that they offer private consultations if additional treatment is needed, making you feel comfortable and informed every step of the way. The waiting area is spacious, and the entire office is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a caring and professional family dental office!

Great Southwest Family Dental is a great place for dental care. The entire team is very professional and friendly. They have outstanding customer service and they listen to their customers. My hygienist, Latricia is the best. She is very knowledgeable and kindhearted. I recommend this dentist, Chris Hung and his team anytime!

Since 2014, when we moved to Texas, Great Southwest Family Dental has been my dental clinic. Dr. Truong is an excellent dentist and dental surgeon, he is truly skilled in his profession. To this day, I haven't switched dentists because I admire his expertise, not just as a dentist but also as a surgeon. I highly recommend him to you. Even my friends have him as their dentist. Now, there is a new doctor at Great Southwest Family Dental, Dr. Shark, who is also a great dentist, and I highly recommend him as well. And of course, the wonderful and friendly dental assistants Maria, Silvia, Latricia, and Albert who clean my teeth and assist me during my appointments are all very experienced in their field. I highly recommend Great Southwest Family Dental.
